There are certain accounts at Fiscal that are designed for specific purposes. For more information about the terms and conditions of these accounts, please call one of our representatives at (800) 311-3328 or stop by one of our branches

A Custodial account is designed to accumulate savings for a minor. These accounts are usually funded by gifts (including transfers from estates, guardianships or persons indebted to the minor), and are held for the benefit of the minor. The only person authorized to transact business, withdraw funds, or close the account is the custodian; the minor is not authorized to transact on the account.  You can open a Fiscal Custodial account for a minor with as little as $5 and the dividend rate is the same as a Fiscal Savings account.

Fiscal offers two types of Trust Accounts:

  • Totten Trust:  A revocable trust account opened in the name of one or more parties as trustee for one or more beneficiaries. The trustee may make deposits, withdrawals, and can also terminate the account.
  • Living Trust: An estate planning tool used primarily to avoid delays and costs associated with the probate process. Members must work with a professional estate planner or an attorney to create a trust agreement. Upon creation of the trust agreement, the member may transfer title of these assets to be held in trust.

Sole Proprietorship accounts are designed for members who own a personal business. The owner of the business must be eligible for membership at Fiscal. Sole Proprietorship accounts can be set up as savings or checking accounts.
